The Vertium Equity Income Fund, a managed investment fund designed to provide attractive income with a focus on capital preservation, has been named the winner of the Financial Standard Leadership Awards 2023 in the Australian equities – Income Focused category. The winners were announced at a Sydney awards event on 1 June 2023.
The Financial Standard Investment Leadership Awards recognise funds that are expected to consistently fulfil investor needs. The awards help investors identify local investment managers who consistently deliver robust returns while adeptly managing investment risk.
Finalists are selected based on 7 factors including performance, volatility, downside risk and performance ratios.

The Vertium Equity Income Fund was launched in April 2017 and aims to provide a higher level of income and lower volatility than the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index, with the potential for capital growth over the medium to long term.
